Open for Business
01/05/2007It is an exciting time, as Mulberry Financial Ltd is now authorised by the Financial Services Authority to give independent financial advice. We specialise in pension and investment business, but we can advise on all aspects of financial planning.
This is the culmination of a great deal of hard work and planning over the last year or so. Re-entering the industry after a couple of years doing other things is a great challenge. Many small IFAs are finding that times are hard. Competition from large firms of national advisers, banks and building societies is fierce. The cost of administration and regulation weighs heavy on smaller Independent Financial Advisers like ourselves. The Financial Services industry is undergoing yet more upheavals as it searches for better ways of getting financial advice to the masses.
However, I am convinced that there is a need (and a demand) for a personal service for individuals which is not driven by short-term sales targets. Giving financial advice is a great responsibility which I do not take lightly. Our business model means that we will provide an ongoing advice service, staying in contact so you will not feel alone when you need to make important decisions in the future. The success of our business relies on your satisfaction with everything we do for you.
Whether you are in Macclesfield, Wilmslow, Stockport, South Manchester, or elsewhere, I look forward to meeting you soon.
The material here is for general information only and is not intended to be relied upon for individual investment decisions. Appropriate independent advice should be obtained before making any such decisions. Mulberry Financial Ltd does not accept any liability for any loss suffered by any user as a result of any such decision.
The information is based on our understanding of current HMRC rules and practices (as at the news article date) which are always subject to change. Taxation and trust advice and Cash ISAs are not regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority. This site is aimed at UK residents only.
Please remember that the prices of shares and other investments can fall sharply. You may not get back the money you originally invested. Past performance is not necessarily a guide to the future.
